Even if your customers have put their brakes on their spending, ensure you are still front of mind for when they are ready to start again. Update them on your plans and keep in touch through email and social channels.


If you haven’t done so already now is the time to adapt, refocus or strengthen your digital presence whether that’s redeveloping your website, adding e-commerce functionality, improving your search engine optimisation or investing in search and social media paid advertising.


Effective marketing campaigns require a high-quality database. Spend time cleansing your data and generating opportunities to capture more of it.


Now is the time to try something new. Look at your customer journey, listen to their changing needs and innovate. If you have already pivoted, review what you have done; what’s working, what isn’t and evolve.

If you haven’t already, now is the time to start planning, ensuring your marketing and sales are aligned to make the most of the other side.
